    The Healing Arts Research Training Center, The HART Center, is a licensed non-residential facility dedicated to helping people find meaning and purpose in their lives. As a locally owned small business (LOSB) in Shelby County we work with other designated organizations to create an atmosphere of collaboration. The Executive Director is currently seeking Shelby County Certification as a Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) to bolster awareness of women entrepreneurs in our community.

    The multidisciplinary team offers unique activities for personal growth and transformation. We provide everything from counseling, energy work and drumming to deeper processes such as psychodrama and hart work to help people go inward utilizing breath, music, and movement, along with creative expression that helps activate the inner healer/teacher. iq services are offered to people who want to release attachment to food, nicotine, drugs, alcohol, sex, and unhealthy lifestyles. Certified auricular acupuncture specialists assist with the detoxification process in the early stages of detachment to reduce cravings for those releasing unhealthy attachments.

    The Healing Will of Intention and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is used to assist those who are healing wounds from trauma. Licensed qualified therapists work with individuals to help change their beliefs and release emotional spiritual physical blockages that create barriers to transformation. With these approaches the individual journey may deepen through movement, toning, meditation, breath, and other healing arts to assist in creative expression that may shift consciousness and empower the process. inner quest is a grand example of a balanced approach through the utilization of traditional and complimentary approaches to healing and personal transformation. The HART Center utilizes research to identify how each component activates the inner healer/teacher of an individual toward intellectual emotional spiritual physical balance and the training component provides continuing education for professionals in the counseling field as well as laypersons seeking education and self-improvement.
