McDowell Center for Children

The McDowell Center for Children believes there is hope for all young people and that anyone can change, given the right guidance and structure. We understand that many adolescents referred to us have a long history of problematic behaviors at school, in the community, and in the family. McDowell is here to offer hope and encouragement to adolescents as well as their families and significant others.

The McDowell Center is a 28 bed residential treatment center for adolescent males ages 12-18 who are experiencing mental health, behavioral, and/or substance abuse issues. The program is designed to ensure a supportive and structured environment that considers the individual’s educational, emotional, and behavioral needs.
